Glulam Logs

Gluelam means that the logs are cut into two and the softer outer part of the log is turned to the centre and environmentally glued together, leaving the harder 'Heartwood' on the outside.

This process ensures your log home will last longer and is harder wearing and that both pieces of timber stay square, practically eliminating splitting and twisting, typically associated with the 'cheaper' solid logs.

The climatic conditions in Finland ensures that the trees enjoy balanced growth. The seasonally changing climate makes Finnish softwood durable and ideally suited for building log houses.

Design

These Log Mobile Homes are designed for anyone who needs a home including the retired, second home owners and young first time buyers etc. they are spaciously designed and attractively built.

Log Park Homes are ideal for owners who prefer not to have those high repair bills often encountered with conventional houses. This makes them ideal for busy or retired people.

You only need a simple strip hard-standing, so from ordering the cabin kit to the builders finishing, installation it is a quick, simple and very economical process.

Although Mobile homes do not come under the same building regulations as standard houses, they still have to come up to the British Standard BS3632:2005 specifications for residential park homes.

Our mobile kits are manufactured more to standard house building regulations, (which are far more strict than the Mobile homes standards), using 88mm thick Finnish gluelam square logs, 100mm insulation frame covered with a 20mm log paneling, we believe these are the only Mobile transportable log cabins available in the UK built to these very high standards and sold at very affordable prices.

Many traditional Residential Park Homes are no more than redesigned caravans which are pushed around on car wheels.

House-uk transportable mobile log cabins are strong and solid, they are warm and comfortable having 208mm thick insulated walls or if you wanted we can now offer 300mm thick insulated walls, making them ideal for young couples stepping on the housing ladder for the first time or as retirement homes or for second home living or a granny flat, so that 'mum and dad' can be near to you in their time of need.

Or perhaps you need a 'Pad' for youngsters wishing to have their own 'Space', without actually leaving home and mum's cooking etc. they are spaciously designed and attractively built to your very own bespoke specification.

They are offered in 20ft or 22ft wide (delivered as two 10' or 11' wide units) and then bolted together on your site, or 12ft wide single units, these are built in one piece.

When the builders construct your mobile home they can use whatever insulation material you require to the floor (150mm), walls (100mm) and roof (150mm + sound boarding), making them suitable for year round occupation.

Each cabin kit is offered as a bespoke unit and individually crafted to your own personal requirements.
